I’ve spent the afternoon trying to cross things after my long “To Do” List. After I got home from work I had to rest my eyes for about 20 minutes–my head was pounding so I let myself fall into a quick sleep. It definitely helped my overall mood.
I got word from the doctor today that my foot is NOT fractured like It thought. The pain is just about gone, but I’m concerned that if it was not fractured, then maybe there is a different problem? Hopefully not and I’ll just pray that it was sore from my tough race on Sunday.
I snacked on a few pieces of cheese with crackers after work. I really am like a kid after school–I need my after work snack to hold me over to dinner!
My To-Do List looks something like this:
Catch up on Blog-Related Work
Go to Price Chopper for a few groceries
Clean disastrous bedroom and bathroom
Watch Shark Week
Yes, Shark Week is a priority here my friends!
After getting some fresh produce at the grocery store I made myself a tasty dinner (and had a few bites of John’s pizza!)
I sauteed some mushrooms and green peppers
After they were a bit brown, I added one egg and two egg whites.
I topped it with ketchup with a side of baked parsnip fries with a dollop of pb.
This was my first attempt at parsnip fries and I’ll be honest–I didn’t really LOVE them. They were just okay in my book. Maybe I’ll get them right next time?
I have to keep crossing things off of my list–don’t stop the progress!
